Fought in the trenches in WWI, enlisted at the age of 17 and was send straight away into service to fight in the Battle of Ypres.
After the war studied German History at the university of München.
Joined the SS in 1930, been send to the SS-Junkerschule Bad Tölz.
Now Hauptsturmführer in the personal staff of the Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler.
